R.V. COLE, age 85, of Garland, TX was born Aug. 14,
1922 and passed away May 29, 2008. Mr. Cole attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 1942 at Ranger, TX
He served in the U.S. Marine Corp, during WWII and
later retired from Greyhound Bus Lines after 35 plus
years. Interment was at Eastland City Cemetery in
Eastland, TX.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Davis
Cole (RHS-1942); son, King Cole; four brothers & one
sister.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Owen and husband,
Tim; daughter-in-law, Lee Cole; grandsons, Hunter Cole,
Scott Cole, and Brackett Owen; brother, Kenneth Cole
and wife, Paula and several nieces and nephews.
