DOROTHY MAE LANE HISE, 92, of Ranger, TX
passed away on Feb. 20, 2012, with burial at
Merriman Cemetery near Ranger.
She was born on Nov. 3, 1919 in Eastland County
to Andrew & Lean Perrin Lane. Records indicate
that she attended Ranger High School in the Class
of 1937 but she graduated from Cooper Grade School
in the Class of 1939. She married Orville Garrett
Hise in August of 1942 in Ranger and he preceded
her in death in 1988. She was also preceded in
death by a brother and 2 sisters.
Mrs. Hise loved her home-style cooking & the outdoors,
where she fished and worked her garden. She loved
walks and country western music.
Survivors at the time of her death include her son,
Gary L. Hise (RHS-1966), of San Diego, CA, & two
grandchildren.
