GEORGE "MUTT" COX, Lieutenant, U.S. Army Air Corps,
was reported missing in the European theater of war
since June 25, 1943, and it was assumed that he died
when his plane was lost. He was the son of Mr. and
Mrs. W.O. Cox of Ranger. At the time he was reported
missing he was serving on a bombing mission and the
plane and crew were never found. Mr. Cox was graduated
from Moody Field, GA, in 1943.
