HAROLD LUCKETT, Cpl., U.S. Army, son
of Mr. & Mrs. J.D. Luckett of Ranger, TX was
stationed at the Desert Training Center, Camp
Horn, AZ. He enlisted in the service, June 16,
1942, & received training at Camp Rucker, AL
on Tennessee maneuvers, and desert maneuvers.
He was rated as a sharpshooter with the rifle,
a marksman with the pistol, and qualified in
the handling of 30 & 50 caliber machine guns.
He was a graduate of Ranger High School & Ranger
Jr. College and was employed by the Consolidated
Aircraft Corporation at San Diego, CA, before
enlistment. He died in June of 1994 at Duncan,
OK.
