THOMAS C. "T.C." WEAVER, age 88, of Belton died on
August 15, 2005 in a Temple hospital. Graveside
services were held at Evergreen Cemetery in
Ranger, TX.
Mr. Weaver was born February 24, 1917 in Avery,
TX, to Elisha P. and Annie B. Darnell Weaver. He
attended Ranger schools, Ranger Jr. College and
Texas A&M University. He served in the U.S. Army
in World War II. He married Loretta "Mutt" Thompson
(RHS-1937) in June of 1938 in Ranger. He retired
from Lone Star Gas in 1973 and Ranger College in
1985. He was a life long resident of Ranger until
moving to Belton in 1993. A lifetime member of
Ranger Masonic Lodge and the First United Methodist
Church in Belton. He was a resident of Park Place
Manor in Belton where he was President of the Resident
Council.
At the time of his death, survivors include: two
daughters, Carolyn Seay (RHS-1957) and husband Fred
(RHS-1955) of Midland, and Brenda Severn (RHS-1964)
and husband Ray of Belton; four grandchildren, and
six great-grandchildren. His brothers were: Everett
Weaver (RHS-1941) and Joseph Weaver (RHS-1938).
Mary Allen (RHS-1936) was his sister. Harvey Dale
Weaver was his brother and Clara Mae Weaver was a
sister.
