FREDA STALLINGS RAINWATER was born Feb. 20,
1911, and was in the Ranger High School Class of
1930 at Ranger, TX.
She married William R. "Bill" Rainwater of Mingus
and they had two children, a daughter Maxie and a
son, Willis, both born in Ranger. A granddaughter,
Karon Piske Wilkinson of Kissimmee, FL, was born
in Ranger. Willis attended school in Ranger but
left early to join the military and Maxie was in
the RHS Class of 1958. William Rainwater died
in 1980 & Freda died in Killeen on June 24, 2000.
She was survived by her son Willis Rainwater (RHS-
1955) & his wife, the former Merrell Dean Lawrence
of Eastland and their daughter, Debbie Colleen; &
a daughter, Maxie Rainwater Piske (RHS-1958), also
of Killeen and her three children, Karon Sue, Roy
Lee & Richard Allen Piske.
