GARLAN WAYNE "OX" HINMAN, 67, died on
April 6, 1977, in Phoenix, AZ, of a massive heart
attack. He was born Dec. 5, 1909 and lived in
Anahuac,TX for many years. Garlan attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 1928 at
Ranger, TX and played football.
He had two brothers, Bill Owen Hinman and Howard
of CA; & seven sisters, Juanita Hinman Fortenberry
(RHS-1929) of Arlington, VA, Uva Hinman Neil (RHS-
1931) of Kerrville, Ada Mae Hinman Wyatt, Mary
Hinman Wilshusen (RHS-1943), Katherine Hinman Rumley
(RHS-1939) and Patsy Hinman Dinsmore, all of Phoenix,
AZ, and Betty Hinman Knight (RHS-1943) of Great
Falls, MT.
He was married to Alarah Morehead and they had
four children, Garlan, Jr., David H., Jack M.
and Laura L. Hinman, who all live in Texas.
