BELVA DIXON was in the Ranger High School Class of
1927 at Ranger, TX and died around 1935.
She was the daughter of Ed and Vernie Dixon. She was
a sister to Gaston and Imogene Dixon. Gaston Dixon
was also in the RHS Class of 1927. Their parents moved
to Van Horn where Imogene was schooled; however, Imogene
came to Ranger and attended Ranger Junior College.
Imogene and her husband, Ken Holmes lived at Lake Leon
for a number of years but eventually settled in Midland
where they retired. Ken Holmes was from around Wichita
Falls but he and Imogene were married in Van Horn. Ken
died on June 12, 2004.
