The Potosi Volunteer Fire Department serves the community of Potosi, Texas
as well as the southern areas adjacent to the city of Abilene, Texas.
Potosi also serves as mutual aid for the surrounding towns and communities
in south central Taylor and western Callahan counties
The following subdivisions are located in the Potosi VFD emergency service area:
Bacacita, Blackhawk, B&R Bar Ranch, Colonial Hills, Coronado, Coronado East,
Dos Condados, Deerwood, Eldorado, Madera Hills, Pack Saddle Meadows/Farms/Prairie,
Potosi Farms, Red Bluff Estates, Seven Winds, South Lytle Estates,
South Wind Estates, Split Rail Meadows, Spring Creek
& W.T. Woody (Cardinal Lane).

TCEQ/FIRE DEPT. APPROVAL IS REQUIRED FOR ANY CONTROLLED BURNS.
