About Me...

Since I know probably most of you who visit here... this is everything you ever wanted to know about me and maybe a few things you really DON'T want to know... *lol* A little biography of sorts... OH, excuse me... AUTObiography.

I was born one foggy, groggy, smoggy, soggy morning in autumn... September 7, 1978 was the fateful day I entered this world... (thanks mom and dad!) I was born in Brindisi, Italy. It's right on the "heel" of the country. My dad was in the military serving a 3 year... eh... sentence (?) overseas. *lol* Tour of duty or whatever they call it. Anyhoo, my mom had to drive herself to the "hospital" in a tan 1971 VW Bug. If you have ever been to an Italian non-military hospital you know why I put the quotes around it. :) And yes, instead of an epidural, they give you red wine. *s*

Mmm, let me skip ahead a few years... about, oh, 19... I now live in San Antonio, Texas. I am about 5'11 or so, reddish hair and blue/grey eyes. I have a size 9 shoe in Men's sizes... (bigfoot, I know!) I graduated from William Howard Taft High School in 1996... ranking 92 in a class of about 520 or so. I had a final overall GPA of 3.6-ish. I am quite proud of that. :)

Now I go to San Antonio College and I have a double major in Graphic Arts. I am finally a legitimate Sophomore. Mmm, if all goes well and stuff, I will graduate in Fall of 2000 or Spring of 2001. Hopefully Fall. *fingers crossed* My current GPA is 3.625, and that nasty number is due to a "C" in College Algebra, and a "B" in Psychology. This fall I am taking 5 classes...

Currently I am working on making a cookbook for my job. I am making the layout and the design and graphics and stuff like that. It's free, but no biggie, the proceeds go to a local Women's Shelter so I don't mind. :) It's due out in November.

I work for a place called  QVC. It's a home shopping channel on most of your cable stations and satellite. I am an Order Entry Phone Represenative. I am really not happy there, but hey, it pays the bills. I work there part time on Third Shift. Third Shift is an EXCELLENT place to be all in all. :) I am looking more for something along the lines of what I am interested in... ART! And since I KNOW it's bothering you... QVC.... the initials mean Quality, Value, and Convenience.

I live with both my parents, and I know that sounds cheesy to some of you, but it's a lot easier on the pocketbook, since I go to school full-time. So now I only need to work part-time. So see? I DO think occasionally. :)

In spare time... hmm... well, as you can already guess, I like to putz around on the computer. I love to read, draw, go to movies and music concerts, occasionally go to clubs (like once or twice a year! *lol*), and basically just hang around with my friends. I enjoy seeing Andrew Lloyd Webber productions. I have seen Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Phantom of the Opera twice. I know it's a little hard to understand a musical sometimes, but Webber is really good at directing and Tim Rice makes the excellent musical scores for them. The team of Webber and Rice is PERFECT! The last musical I saw was Phantom of the Opera back in January. My Christmas present from my friend Ralph was a ticket to go see it. I also love music. I love to go to concerts, mostly rock and some metal... the next tenative concert I am going to is Metallica on August 1st in Retama Park. Then it's on to see Tool on August 6th. I have seen quite a few bands... including Pantera, Type O Negative, Marilyn Manson, Megadeth, Ozzy, Queensrÿche.... bands like that. My favorite: Pantera!!!

Which leads me into music likes: I like almost everything. From 80's to Hard Rock to Metal to "coffee shop," to soundtracks. All of it. I like bands like Barenaked Ladies, Siouxie and the Banshees, Tool, Type O Negative, White Zombie, Korn, Aerosmith, ABBA (yes, ABBA. Go ahead, laugh.) Red Hot Chili Peppers, and miscellaneous stuff like that.

Well, that is really all that is me... most of it anyhoo. Thanks for stopping in, even if you did only come here by mistake. :) Sign the guestbook!
