A young girl, walks in the mists of the night. Tree leaves shake in wind, as it
blows softly. The young girl, in the purest of white armor moves slowly,
sensing a dragon nearby. It was her talent and love. Taming and
understanding animals. Ears perk, eyes search in the night, hands held
open while the felt for movement. Step by step she went, using caution.
The blue eyed girl didn’t want to scare the beast and cause it to attack. She
hears a soft roar and moves towards it, feet almost shuffling in the grass
and leaves.

In the moonlight night, she sees the largest white wrym her memory could
recall. It was sick, she could sense it. Her eyes roamed the muscled beast
before meeting with it’s green glowing eyes. She gasped, as if suddenly in
great pain. She removes her chain armor, hands shaky, chest racked in
pain. She could feel warmth and already knew she was bleeding. She falls
to her knees, next to the dragon. Armor falls from her hands, she looks
down at the strange mark that has been on her chest every since she could
remember. The blood was coming from it. She gasps in horror, shocked, her
bloody hands reaching for her cloth in her backpack. Her mind was dizzy,
thoughts cluttered. What is happening to me she thought confused. She
tries to focus on healing herself. The dragon whimpers in pain, catching her
attention, she wraps her wounds in cloth, applying pressure, trying to stop
the bleeding. She had lost a lot of blood. Too much. It was happening again,
fleeting images from her childhood flashed thru her mind quickly. A white
dragon. Blood. So much blood. Intense pain. Confusion. The blackness was
coming again. No. Must not pass out she thought as blackness consumed
her.
Days Later.
The dragon watches over the pale girl protectively, fire coming from it’s
nostrils. She must not die, it thought. It walked back and forth, pacing,
thoughtful. It had saved her life many moons before, now it must do it again.
What if she does not wake up this time, it thought. Her birthmark had
stopped bleeding, for that it was grateful for. But he knew she must eat and
drink. She had felt it’s pain or it had felt her’s. It wasn’t sure. It didn’t make
sense. But it knew, they were each other protectors in some twisted way.
The beast looked at the fruit it had collected hours early, nuding the girl
gently with it’s head, it causes her to moan. It’s eyes light up as she starts to
wake up!
It rolls some fruit to her with it’s nose. Eat! It thought, a soft roar escaping
it’s lips. To it’s delight she ate, looking at it. The dragon wasn’t shocked to
find she was not at all scared of it.
Night came again and she was resting. He knew where he must take her. It
knew of good people that would welcome her and take care of her. And
teach her about her birthmark. The Dragon’s Lair. The dragon picked her
up gently in her mouth, like a tiger would it’s cub and flew to DL.
