Hello, My name is Aaron Slaughter. I am a Captain / EMT with Lockhart Fire / Rescue in Lockhart, Texas. I am also the Communication Coordinator for the City of Lockhart. I currently live in Luling which is about 15 miles south of Lockhart. I began my Fire career in August 1994 when I joined the Luling Volunteer Fire Department. After I graduated from Luling High School, I enrolled into Taylor Fire Training Academy in which I received a Certificate of Completion in Basic Firefighter. I also received a Certificate of Completion in Emergency Medical Technician, Basic. I received my Texas Department of Health EMT certification in February 1997. I began working for Lockhart Fire / Rescue in February 1999 as a part-time firefighter. I was hired on as a full-time firefighter on April 1, 2000. My website is intended to provide information on Firefighting and information in and around Caldwell County, Texas.
