A WORD ABOUT THE TALESPIN SERIES Baloo the Bear stars as a good-natured but bungling pilot (for hire) who wings his way through adventurous comedies filled with dog-fights, sticky situations, thrilling escapades and plenty of humor. Baloo shares his adventures with his little buddy, Kit Cloudkicker. The two spend nearly all of their time together. Baloo treats Kit as though he was his own son. Baloo pilots the Seaduck, a plane owned by Rebecca Cunningham and her “Higher for Hire” air cargo service company. Rebecca lives in Cape Suzette with her young daughter, Molly Cunningham. Rebecca and Molly often find themselves caught up in many of Baloo’s misadventures. Baloo biggest problem is that he loves hanging around Louie’s Restaurant. But playing hooky usually gets Baloo in trouble with his boss, Rebecca. Baloo is no stranger to trouble, in fact, Baloo is in trouble most of the time. Either he is desperately trying not to mess up things up or else he is trying to fix something he has already messed up. Baloo’s misbegotten antics make Becky (his boss) quite miffed at him but in spite of himself, Baloo often ends up saving the day —and his hide. Throughout the series, Baloo makes full use of his superb skills as a pilot especially when he is forced into a dogfight by Don Karnage and his pilots goons. Don Karnage and his partners in crime are relentless with their sneaky plots and mischevious plans. Whenever Karnage hatches an evil plan, no matter how he tries to make sure his plans work, when plan “A” fails (and it usually does), Karnage resorts to plan “B”. More often than not “plan B” involves kidnaping or hostage taking with Baloo and Kit off to the rescue. Another enterprising enemy is Shere Khan. As far as enemies go, Shere Khan is more sophisticated and far less troublesome to Baloo than Don Karnage and his nefarious fiends. This is a brand new website. It is so new that my mom and I just started working on it. Come back soon and you are sure to find lots more "Pilots and Air Pirates" (Talespin pictures) to enjoy. We will be adding puzzles and maybe even some games too!
