We have earned the needed credentials to properly diagnose and repair your vehicles to keep them running to factory performance specifications. With the increasing complexity of the modern vehicle, we are constantly upgrading our equipment and continuing our technical education to stay current on the latest techniques and procedures. With specialized diagnostic tools and equipment, we can perform the maintenance and repairs properly the first time.
We belong to the international Automotive Technicians Network, the largest Professional Automotive Technical Support Group in the world. We are networked and on-line live with them every day, giving and recieving technical support. We are able to get immediate responses to difficult technical questions from experts in their respective fields. With more than 46,000 members world wide, we have 980,816 years of combined automotive experience at our immediate disposal. Our manger/technician, Ben Perry, has over two dozen automotive technical certifications. Nine of these are ASE Certifications, including the Advanced Engine Performance Certification that is required by the State of Texas to perform emission-related repairs. During the brief period of time our local area was required to perform emissions testing and repairs, our facility had a post repair re-test pass rate of 100%.
Mr. Perry is an Adjunct Instructor of Automotive Technology at Brazosport College, serving on the Automotive Curriculum Advisory Board, and has participated in the formation of the Automotive Technical Preparatory Curriculum between Brazosport College and the Angleton and Brazosport Independent School Districts.
We charge for diagnostics or troubleshooting time, but where the troubleshooting and repair procedures overlap, we give the customer the break on the time. We believe in using factory replacement parts on all emissions and electronic related systems. We use high quality aftermarket replacement parts on all other repairs. We are certified by the International Mobile Air Conditioning Association in all aspects of handling R12 and R134A Freon.
Let us explain the diagnostic or troubleshooting procedures that we use to diagnose your vehicle for a driveability (on-board computer) complaint. We use both the standardized troubleshooting charts supplied by the manufacturer and specialized diagnostic training manuals. They are very complete and can be very complicated at times. We use the best meters, digital storage oscilloscopes, and gauges for these purposes to assure the most accurate results. We also use hand held computer scanners that can be interfaced with the on-board computer system and taken in the vehicle when driven to retrieve live data for diagnosis. We no longer use the large Engine Analyzers because a lot of today's problems cannot be reproduced in the service stall.
