Hammerfall are an excellent Dutch(correct me if I am wrong) power metal band. Great vocals and guitars are their cornerstones of success.

I was a little nervous about buying this cd because I had never heard of the group before, but after just one listen, I knew I had a classic. This is an excellent cd that proves to everyone that metal is not dead. The songs are written well and are played perfectly. My favorite song is probably The Dragon Lies Bleeding. It is a pretty fast song with a good beat. I also really like the lyrics on this one. In fact, I like the lyrics on all the songs! Another song that is really good is Stone Cold. It isn't a really fast song, but it's heavy beat really gets you going. Steel Meets Steel, Unchained, and Children Of The Damned are also excellent songs. Glory To The Brave and I Believe are both slower songs, but they are still incredible. There is not one dull song on this entire cd! The guitars mesh perfectly with the singers excellent voice. This is definately a cd to buy. The only small complaint I have is that there are not enough guitar solo's, but everthing else is so perfect, you can overlook it.
