~~POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS~~

For as he thinks within himself, so he is.

     --Proverbs 23:7

What we think about, we talk about. And what we talk about, we bring about. Sooner or later, the thoughts that forecasted reality become reality, at least as far as we are able to know. Suppose that each of us had a recorder taping our thoughts, rather than our words, for a whole day. What would we hear when we played the tape? Would our thoughts be mostly focused on the injustices of life and the slim chances we have of ever making progress? Or would our thoughts be positive, appreciative, and hopeful about ourselves and our world?

Good thoughts bring good things. When we think in terms of the goodness of life, we see the good, talk the good, and the good will come to be part of our lives.

I will examine each day the quality of my thoughts.

From DAYS OF HEALING, DAYS OF JOY

  • God loves me and I like myself unconditionally (just the way I am)

  • I do not devalue myself or anyone else thru destructive criticism

  • God loves everyone, and I have unconditional warm regard for all persons at all times

  • I am easily able to relax at any time, and thru daily use of my affirmations, I am healthier in body, mind, and spirit

  • I am truly self-determined, inner directed by the Holy Spirit, and allow others the same right

  • I refuse to give control to any person, circumstance or event to cause me to feel anxious, fearful, frustrated, guilty, or insecure

It is suggested to read these affirmations 5 times each, at least twice a day.

"In all thy ways acknowledge him, and He shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:6
