Kyle (10 months)
I know it's been a LONG time since I last updated, but taking care of 4 boys...oops, I mean...3 boys and a husband is quite a handful. I enjoyed my summer with the boys, but walking around with a heavy heart.
My mother passed away suddenly on Memorial Day (May 30th). It was quite unexpected and we are all in a state of shock and disbelief over the entire thing. I miss her dreadfully, but just can't quite grasp she is no longer with us. I think that one of these days I will wake up from this nightmare, because I am having trouble facing the grim reality that I will no longer have her in my life, nor my children's lives. She was an amazing mother, but an even better friend.We are also dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Although Houston was spared, we have been worried about Mitch's family and our friends in South Louisiana. Thankfully, no one in our family lost homes, only power and some trees. We pray for our friends in New Orleans and just hope that they rebuild that beautiful city as this worlds needs a place like New Orleans.
Please enjoy the new photo album and now that I got my new camera, check back often for new pictures. We are heading off to DisneyWorld for one week and I know I will have some awesome pictures to share with you.
