Keep Looking Up

My Dad passed away many years ago, but of all the many things he taught us was that no matter what happened ~ to

"Keep Looking Up!"

I guess I never really applied that to LIFE itself; seems like that is something you just take for granted...
I know that 'I' always did, that is, until 24 years ago when I was in a head-on car wreck, which resulted in me having a major STROKE due to head injuries. I was in a semi-coma for quite sometime. The paralysis from the stroke affected the entire left side of my body.Needless to say. I came very close to death. But you know what? I've learned so much from all of this, more than words can say, actually. Among them is that I now appreciate LIFE more than ever before. I am thankful for all the 'little things' in life, just as much as the big ones.We are constantly surrounded by God's blessings, and I am thankful for them all.
Even though, after all these years, I still have partial paralysis in my left arm and hand; I've realized that's no big deal and that most of all_
GOD has been good to me !! and I love him & am very thankful for this

My husband 'Splinter'  [one more of God's huge blessings to me] never left my bedside. Nor did he EVER give up on me through all of this!

~No one may never realize I guess, just how much I love that husband of mine !He is truly the greatest!, I am so very thankful to God for giving him to me. *S*
