In the dark of my night.
I sit alone in a room.
It is my night for I share it with no one.
Empty spaces around me.
These spaces have always been here.
There is no one to fill such spaces in any life.
These are the spaces we keep for ourselves.
Many do not understand,
Why we need these spaces.
We are selfish they may say.
We can not open up to them they scream at us.
In this little space I hide my sanity.
I pray it to be safe here.
I will not give up this one small space,
to any of them.
Why do they see my space to be
less important than their's?
