Illinois Photographs

Amish farmer spraying field near Chesterville, IL with 4 abreast Percheron hitch.

The tomb of our 16th President, Abraham Lincoln, in Oakridge Cemetery, Springfield, IL. Since Jeremy had been studying the presidents in U.S. History, to be able see where one of the great presidents of our country was buried was a "highpoint" of the trip for him. Although difficult to see, Connie and Jeremy are in the photo near the rail at the top of the tomb.

View of a marina in a cove in Lake Michigan on Chicago's lake front.

Another view of the marina with
aircraft departing Meigs Field in the background. Aircraft using this airport must both approach and
depart over open water in either direction. As a
private piolt, I have landed on this field.

View of Lake Michigan from the Shedd Aquarium, Chicago, IL.
