72 Jungle Jim tribute F/C, first 60' test pass
Ava Barbin documented the Hurricane Ike action from beginning to end, Barbin and fiance Mitch King rode out the storm in the shelter of King's family owned La King's Confectionery candy store and ice cream parlor, located on the historic Galveston Strand. The photos tell the story, notice the boat which came to rest in King's backyard pool and the extensive damage inside the candy store.
