The Roboteacher
My Invention
The Robo-whatzit?
If I could invent my own weird invention, provided I
had the technology, I would invent the Roboteacher.
This teacher could easily replace human teachers
(but not Mrs. Fernandez, of course. She's the
greatest teacher on the planet. Thats why she's
going to give me an A+!). What the Roboteacher
would do is, after Pre-Kindergarten and
Kindergarten, in
the first grade, the Roboteacher would take students
up one by one into a small room. Then, the child
would sit down in a chair directly in front of the
Roboteacher. Finally, the Roboteacher would emit a
laser directly into the child's retinas and to the
brain. The child would be beamed like this for a
total of 30 seconds, and after the beaming was over,
the child would walk out of the room to rejoin
his/her friends, with the knowlege of a High School
Graduate.
Sure, there are downsides to this. But since it
will more than-likely never happen, its cool to just
fantasize. :-)
