Poem 2

I Walk Alone: by Daniel Dunham
A cool breeze, a breath of wind,
Comes flowing whimsically round the bend,
A shadow forms from soft moonlight,
I walk alone on a quiet night.

Thoughts of you embrace my brain,
A love so strong it causes pain,
I call your name through subtle word,
Words through silence never heard.

My love for you I can't reveal,
Your love is one I cannot feel,
I'm not worthy of the prize,
Of peering in your loving eyes.

The shadows cover up your face,
I shed a tear for loves disgrace,
Dark clouds cover soft moonlight,
I walk alone on a darkend night.
