PERSONNEL SERVICES DIVISION

The PSD is responsible for the support of all units under the 13th COSCOM division. These major groups include the 1st Medical Group, 64th Corps Support Group, and the Phantom Support Group. The PSD Section is assigned the responsibility of processing awards for the 13th COSCOM, Medical/MOS Review Board, Retiree Reports, and Personnel Actions which include Line of Duty Investigations, Congressional Inquiries, and PX Suspension of Priveleges. Soldiers assigned to PSD will need to become familiar with the various sections including Soldier Medical Readiness Center (SMRC), Dental Readiness, HIV Readiness, and Congressionals.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Personnel Services Division is to provide and support the 13th Corps Support Command in matters of Personnel Actions, Line Of Duty Investigations, Congressional Investigations, Medical MOS Retention Board, and Awards.

DELEGATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

Officer In Charge (OIC)

The Personnel Services Division Officer in Charge's primary responsibility is to control the quality of work. He/She has the final approval on everything leaving the section that needs to go to the Deputy G1. He/She is also responsible for counseling his/her soldiers including the NonCommissioned Officer in Charge of the section.

NonCommissioned Officer In Charge (NCOIC)

The Personnel Services Division's Noncommissioned Officer In Charge's primary responsibility is to control the quality of work. He/She is also responsible for counseling his/her soldiers monthly to determine their strengths and weaknesses. It is his/her goal to help soldiers improve their quality of work.

Personnel Actions

Personnel Actions section handles PX Suspension of Privileges and other related issues. The Line of Duty Investigations and Congressional Inquiries are combined with Personnel Actions making it a three-in-one section. The Personnel Actions Clerk is responsible for updating three reports and making sure that the suspense dates are met by all subordinate units. Medical/MOS Review Board (MMRB)

The Medical/MOS Review Board clerk is responsible for preparing the packets and informing the board members of the next board date. The MMRB clerk will also serve as a recorder for each board. The recorder is responsible for taking notes on every action and decision that the chain of command makes for that particular medical board. Please click the "MMRB" link for more information.

Awards

The Awards clerk is responsible for processing all awards being turned in at 13th Corps Support Command. These awards may be Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Army Achievement Medal. Please click the "Awards" link for more information.
