The purpose of the G1-MMRB clerk is to ensure that P3 (profile soldiers) have completed interviews and the following duties: processing of paperwork, scheduling of boards, managing database files, distributing of various memorandums. This process will require communication between the clerk, P3 soldiers, unit commanders, board members, and distributors.
START OF THE MMRB PROCESS FOR THE SOLDIER:Soldier receives a profile (P3) that affects his job performance or physical fitness readiness by receiving a DA Form 3349 (Physical Profile). The clerk will enter the soldier's data into the database and do the following:
Schedule the MMRB Board
Assign the MMRB date and make arrangements through chapel or building supervisor. Ensure that the request is in writing and tranmittals are completed. If using the COSCOM chapel, complete the chaper request form. Point of contact is at 287-3090.
Do Memorandum of Appointment
"Good afternoon, my name is _______ from COSCOM G1/PSD. I am calling to check (prospective board member's) schedule for the (date of MMRB), (time of MMRB)".
If all is clear, have the secretary schedule the commander/officer for the MMRB. Notify confirming authority of the place and time of the MMRB. Document time and name or individual confirming the date and time of schedule.
Notify the Chain of Command
Notify the Group S-1 and the unit 1SG or the representative (commander's secretary) of the soldier's selection for the MMRB. Provide the date of board, uniform, and prepare the proper paperwork for the process.
