Love is protecting....always...from emotionally and spiritually, to running in front of a car and pushing them out of the way to save them. Parents feel it for their children. Wives feel it for their husbands, and husbands for their wives. Children feel it for their parents. We feel it for our friends and family. All these sayings we do and I apologize for that, because in this day and age I probably should've said "should" before each 'feel'. Protection is something given to someone you love. Overprotection many times has to do with selfishness and insecurity. Remember not to let worry bother you, but always protect those you love. Also remember, as Christians we are called to love and be loving to everyone. There are different kinds of love...and the Christian love is unconditional/brotherly.
Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you.
