How can anyone truly delight in evil? How warped does a life have to be to delight and enjoy seeing people suffer and hurt? Many people in this life desire to hurt others...make them feel guilty...make them feel bad...or worse than they already have to. God says that this is not love. This is evil. Love does not enjoy seeing the bad works of man...in fact it detests it and tries to help. Look to things you do. Evil sounds like a strong, focused, harsh word, but it is what we do each day that we sin. Keep your brother accountable and do not be a stumbling block to them. Delight in good, and pursue good things.
Beware of turning to evil, which you seem to prefer to affliction.
- Job 36:21 -
Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
- Psalm 34:12-14 -

- Psalm 97:10 -

- Proverbs 10:23 -
Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light, for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.
- John 3:20-21 -
I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is the sin living in me that does it. So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God-through Jesus Christ our Lord!
- Romans 7:18-25 -
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.
- Romans 12:9-10 -
Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good.
- Romans 12:21 -
Avoid every kind of Evil.
- 1 Thessalonians 5:22 -
But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.
- Hebrews 5:14 -
