1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu $6900
#'s matching, 283, 2 spd powerglide

This is an incredible, unmolested car. It was a 1 owner car until this year (89 yr old woman), car is in excellent shape. It has all matching #'s 283, 2 spd powerglide, factory A/C (very cold)bench seat, red with black interior, super clean. It burns some oil and has a few rust spots. The car must be seen and any description is not going to do the car justice. I have the original owner's manual with protect-o-plate. Car is a gem and is worth a look. Here's the story. I was not looking to buy this car but stumbled across it. I am looking for an old RoadRunner or Superbee. Anyway, this guy had this chevelle he bought from the original owner in January for his son. The son didn't like the car so dad decided to sell, I guess dad's don't always know best.:) The original owner was an 89 yr old lady who has owned it since 1967. She took really good care of the car....but she was an old lady so she took "old lady" care of the car if you know what I mean. The hubcaps don't all match (they are all ss hubcaps though), the front pass. qtr was repainted from the top of the body line to the bottom....unfortunately, the color isn't a perfect match and appears a little pinker than the rest of the car...not bad but noticable in the right light. There is one patch of rust on the bottom front driver's qtr between the wheel and door, it would need a patch panel. Other than that, there's a bubble near the top corner of the trunk (pass. side) an a little rust along the back window (bottom driver's side). The frame, floors are excellent and the trunk looks unbelievable!! Interior is in excellent original condition. There is a seam split in the drivers side of the bench about 6" long and the driver's arm rest pad needs replaced. Everything else is bone stock original and in great shape. Original AM radio works, but the under dash speaker is blown. Engine bay has never had anything done to it, it's clean, but paint is chipping on engine....you know looks like a 33 yr old engine bay ( but quite clean). I've noticed it burns some oil on the interstate when you deccelerate quickly. The car drives great....kind of glides and quite peppy for a 283. Anyway, this description is basically to point out the problems, but this is really a great car. I also have the original owner's manual with protect-o-plate in the back.
