Prayer

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, And the glory, forever. Amen.  Matthew 6:9-13

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Jude 1:20

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to they Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.  Matthew 6:6

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.  And this is his commandment, that we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another as he gave us commandment.  1 John 3:22-23

And this is the confidence that we have in him that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask , we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 1 John 5:14-15

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.  Mark 11:24

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven for give your trespasses. Mark 11:25-26

Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you, That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:44

Men ought always to pray, and not to faint Luke 18:1

Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the spirit.  ! Thessalonians 5:16-19

I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting  1 Timothy 2:8

Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any marry? Let him sing psalms. James 5:13
