Dynamic Ribbon Device have a few tracks on the upcoming Western Breed compilation

    Demos that are out now

Orbital Burn: The long awaited demo is finally out featuring three songs. It is every bit as loud and aggressive as you'd expect.... but perhaps you might not have seen the focused frenzy of "Captain Loaded" or the complete assault of "Malt Liquor Love Affair"... the demo far exceeds both conventionality and expectation...pick up a copy and play it at obscene volumes.

Creeptown: Yep they came out with avengence. The song features the tracks "Salem Witch", "Killer Pork", and "Black Monday (live)". Although they've since sharpened their sound and written some amazing new songs recently...there's still nothin like the old stuff...if Salem Witch doesn't make it worth three bucks then I don't know what will. It might still be availiable. I'm not sure

Dolores: by all accounts one of the best demos by a local band this year..say what you will about their style this proved to be a strong representation of their live sound .....there are also a few tracks recorded during the few months that Dolores was "inactive" that feature Neil on drums

Fade 22: formerly known as Maquilladora... I haven't heard the demo but I've heard good stuff about it. They have pretty much a metal sound so if you like that then track them down. Rumour says that they're changing up their style...so if you liked the old style be sure to get this demo

Fabulous Baker Boys: I've only heard the "Jeremy" mix of their demo..I heard the songs at their last show. If yr in to straight up Pop/Descendants style punk this is the tape to get....they should have another one coming up soon...and I've heard they're rerecording their full legnth

    bands rumoured to be recording....

    * alot of bands just recently finished their tracks for the upcoming Western Breed Comp.

Fade 22 is up to no damn good.....I don't know what's going on with them but they've done plenty of work on their webpage

Chris has decided to milk the mighty cash cow that is the Lubbock music scene and began a huge conglomerate of a production company known as BAT BOY PRODUCTIONS they are preparing some full leghnths for the upcoming year such by acts such as, Matt's Fat Ass Pipe, and of course The Fabulous Baker Boys. all releases will be on cassette and at a pretty cheap price so look out for some of them in the future.

The Fabulous Baker Boys, who now feature Jamie Brock on drums and Chris Fab on bass, are working on a full legnth release which will include all the demo tracks besides "Million Miles Tonight". I'll have a track listing on that as soon as I get one (again).

Jamie Brock is now the predomninant owner of local coffeehouse Rennaisance and they are doing shows of any genre as well as open mics....and everything is of course all ages..more on that on a page I'm working on....

A few more bands should really get started....goddamnit....and get Dolores a drummer

a new band called Lucky have been playing shows Rennaisance, I'll have more on them as I get it

The Hooligans going to practice sometime, I'm not exatcly sure when....look for some suprising new members...by the way, they are members of the BAT BOY conglomerate...I love saying that...its so crass.

Madrigal is looking for anyone interested in playing drums or bass...the style is emo (and whatever else comes out)... and the influences are mainly: Slint, Unwound, Sunny Day Real Estate, Betty Drew, Boy's Life, and Hum...if you like any of this stuff. PLEASE contact me we should be working on some stuff anyway so look out for a stripped down version of the band to be playing some shows soon.
