God is Sound Productions, the guys responsible for booking all the Kitchen Club shows, and Bat Boy are planning an all day show for the end of summer featuring half Bat Boy bands, and half God is Sound bands. We don’t have a solid idea of exactly where this will take place or what bands will play, but we'll keep you posted.
The Fabulous Baker Boys have finished recording "Baker's Dozen,” our thirteen song album. Due to the lineup changes, the album is set for possible re-recording.
Looks like TxRx 778 is done for. Jeremy is going in a new direction and starting a punk band called the Strangers.
Mikey Likes It will be going into the studio soon to record their full length for an early summer release. The group has been gaining a steady following of young punks since they played at Presinct 1 in December, and their album should be nothing short of monumantal.
A “full” length release by Matt’s Fat Ass Pipe is in the works for a release as the first real Bat Boy recording. The tape will contain such hits as “Wes on Meth” and “Tyrono.”
I’ve written several stories in addition to “Girl of My Dreams” and I intend to publish them, as well. I don’t know if anyone will buy them, but, for what it’s worth, I think they’re good stories, and anyone could use a break from having their brains turned to mush by the television. My newest creation is a story called True Cynically Semi-Rhetorical Love. The illustrations are being done by Mike Strickland.
