John William Z. Goodgion

J.W.Z. Goodgion was named after both his Grandfathers - John Stone and William Goodgion. The " Z " name is unknown (to me).

He was born: October 26, 1840 in Maury County, Tennessee to Alexander W. Goodgion and Mary R. Stone. He died: February 26, 1888 in Hopkins County, Texas.

I have Census records for two wives and according to living relatives, John supposedly had seven children. I only know of five, for certain:

By his 1st wife, Rebecca:
1- William Wesley Goodgion
By his 2nd wife, Susan W. Tomplin:
2- John Hardy Goodgion
3- Lizzie Z. Goodgion
4- Eula Goodgion
5- Mary L. Goodgion

I have a third marriage, but the two children were not his, to my knowledge. I have not been able to corroborate this info with family, so I have not included it.
