Rainy Days And Mondays and the Carpenters

The Carpenters are the official band of the 70s. They brought sad melodie such as "rainy days and Mondays" To cheerfully optimistic songs like "Top of the World"

Richard Carpenter's arrangements left hippies, war heroes, and adults singing along and cheering them on. Karen Carpenter's exactness with the ability to NEVER go flat and stay in perfect pitch was odd comapred to some of the music of that decade.. She even played the drums while singing! Trust me that takes talent!

One man said "My god! People would have to hate music to hate these carpenter's Records!...And I agree.

And that smile that they share. Karen has the most beaoutiful smile! Richard's teeth are like mine..so that bugs me. It is a smile that shows pure joy not just "I gotta smile to make money!" THere is something magic about their performance.

The Carpenter's Music isn't really defined into a genre....besides awesome and popular. They have country songs, classic songs, Christmas songs., inspirational songs...all sorts!

here is a list of their hits in the order that I love them the most!
