Origin of Christmas

Open Letter to James Dobson and Focus on the Family:

I just read the Q & A in my current issue of FOTF magazine about Christmas observance. This immediately brought to mind the question of abortion.

Did you know that the shortest day of the year is 12/21. The ancients knew the sun shined shortest on this day. The feast, which Christianity mimics with Christmas, began at this time with much feasting and revelry to stir up life for the frading sun. It culminated on the 25th with abortions, and sacrfices of children by passing them through the fire to Moloch/Molech/Malcham. Yes, children were offered up as burnt offerings to release their life force to regenerate the sun. Ray Vander Laan cover this on one of your "That The World May Know" videos.

Scripture is full of references about Moloch. (Lev. 18:21, 20:2-5; I Kings 11:7; II Kings 23:10; Jer. 32:35; Amos 5:26; Zeph. 1:5; Acts 7:43). The message is clear that we are to refrain from honouring, or even mixing with Moloch.

Zephaniah 1 prophesies that in the Day of the Lord, that great day of judgement, God will destroy all who partake of Moloch, even those whol call upon the name of the Lord (vs.5), the children of the King who mix with "strange apparel" (vs. 7), and those who say it doesn't really matter to God (vs.12).

As with Halloween and other Satanic days, we must become what the will of our creator wants of us - a body perfected, without spot, blemish or wrinkle, in robes of white, prepared and adorned, ready for his coming. AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE WE SHALL SERVE THE LORD!

The current opening of your website has a greeting from Dr. Dobson that begins, "Christmas is a time for tradition..." Whose traditions are addressed? Read the words of our great and Mighty Saviour in Mark 7:6-13. "Well has Isaiah prophesied...This people honors Me with their lips...in vain do they worship Me...Full well you reject the commandment of God that you may keep YOUR OWN TRADITION...Making the Word of God of none effect THROUGH YOUR TRADITION, which you have delivered."
