Justamere Paint Farm

These are the horses currently on our farm:

Our farm is located in Waller, Texas

Just about 30 minutes West of Houston on HWY 290

HINT: If you minimize the pop-up box instead of x-ing it, it will not pop up again as you scroll through the pages on this site.

I would like to show off the stars of our farm!

The mares that started it all: Lacy (AQHA)and Joy (PtHA)

All of our Paints are also registered with the Pinto Horse Association (PtHA)

This is Joy, my “once in a lifetime soul mate” type horse. My parents bought her for me when I was in middle school and she was only 3 years old. You could say I grew up on her back!.

Joy was purchased in Austin, TX and she went with our family when we moved up to Indiana. She followed us into Ohio and finally settled down with me here in Houston.

Joy deserves special recognition for her willingness to do anything I asked of her. Sometimes we actually got into trouble because she would do things I expected her to refuse (like jumping off a bridge!).

Joy and I competed in cross-country jumping, Western and English shows, and pole bending.

Occasionally a local race would be set up when we were in Ohio- she always won!

When I married in 1990 it was time for all of us to settle down and be “domestic”. Joy started producing some very beautiful colts and I have 3 young children.

We have a Grullo 2002 mare, brought in from Dallas. Her name is "Hot In The Shade" and she is a grand daughter of "Hot Scotch Man".

NEW! I finally found a grullo paint! Come meet CSS Snazzy Jetalito my new 2 year old filly from Oklahoma.

Check out my other black and white!

"I Ain't A Paint" is his registered name but he goes by "Zee". Foaled in 2000, he was a wild weanling until he joined my herd!

Lacy, Chance and Shiloh have moved away to Austin, Texas but you can still check on them through this page link: Ready to see Lacys' family?
