Apparently he wouldn't give up the secret as to where 2 CONC he had hidden it even to his second wife under her threats of death. 2 CONC Where he had obtained so much gold that he had to hide it? Probably Jacob 2 CONC brought considerable wealth with him when he came to southwest Virginia 2 CONC as he acquired several acres of land. Perhaps he had gold left after 2 CONC making his land purchases and buried it somewhere on his farm. Or perhaps 2 CONC the money was from the sale of some of his land. 2 CONT 2 CONT Some say he buried his gold in his first wife's grave. (1) Others say it 2 CONC was by a spring flowing east (2) but who could say which spring? Likely, 2 CONC Jacob owned many springs emitting their waters toward the sunrise. People 2 CONC even had ideas as to the size and nature of the gold - some said it was a 2 CONC peck pot of gold coins. (3) 2 CONT 2 CONT On his death bed, Jacob supposedly attempted to tell those around him his 2 CONC secret, but he was too weak and feeble in his last few minutes and 2 CONC couldn't make them understand where he had buried his gold. Some thought 2 CONC he mentioned something about a poplar tree. He tried to tell them but he 2 CONC slipped into death still holding his secret. (4) 2 CONT 2 CONT Many have searched for the treasure. Probably "Old Granny Hettie" herself 2 CONC looked around for it when Jacob was away visiting the neighbors or had 2 CONC slipped off to get some lead ore to make some bullets. Hettie must have 2 CONC searched frantically after Jacob died for then she had no fear he would 2 CONC come home and find her digging. Holes were dug all around on the old 2 CONC Bluebaugh farm by many 2 CONT different people. There is a tradition (5) that one woman named Creech 2 CONC (from the nearby Johnson farm - formerly known as the Bailey farm) 2 CONC searched and thought about the Bluebaugh gold so much that she went crazy 2 CONC and her family would have to lock her in a closet under or behind the 2 CONC stairs when she got uncontrollably violent. 2 CONT 2 CONT Even within this quarter-century, this writer (Jacob's 2 CONC great-great-great-great-grandson) and some of his cousins searched for 2 CONC the legendary Bluebaugh treasure using an electronic metal detector. Near 2 CONT one stream was buried a pan lid, probably of relatively recent vintage. 2 CONC By a little dry ditch (like a spring in wet weather or was in Jacob's 2 CONC time) and by a tree (one too young to have been there when Jacob lived), 2 CONC the electronic apparatus registered a signal of something metallic. 2 CONC Excavation was immediately commenced but was somewhat hampered when solid 2 CONC rock was reached. Had a rock slide come down the steep bank sometime in 2 CONC the intervening decades and buried still farther down Jacob's secreted 2 CONC pot of yellow metal? Not to be deterred, a little help from explosives 2 CONC got them down a little ways more. Probably too much has already been 2 CONC revealed. Was something found? That's another secret! 2 CONT 2 CONT Besides being remembered for his pot of gold, Jacob Bluebaugh was well 2 CONC known for his art of molding bullets out of lead. Known to him and to no 2 CONC other human being was his source of lead ore. Years later, some Indian 2 CONC in Oklahoma is aid to have related how he saw "Bluebaugh" get the lead 2 CONC ore. Even the story of the Indian's telling this has gotten hazy with the 2 CONC passage of time and generations 2 CONT but he may have stated that Jacob got the ore at Pea Vine Knob on 2 CONC Wallen's Ridge. (6) 2 CONT 2 CONT Some Lee County residents of today recall that people have said in years 2 CONC past that Jacob himself was part American Indian (7) and that the old 2 CONC cemetery located six-tenths of a mile straight northeast of the town of 2 CONC Dryden and situated on the top of a knoll is an Indian cemetery. However, 2 CONC it seems that most refer to it as the old Bluebaugh cemetery. 2 CONT 2 CONT The Bluebaugh cemetery is (or was in 1962, at least) guarded by a lone 2 CONC old weathered lightning-splintered walnut tree. There are several native 2 CONC rock headstones and footstones there but no inscriptions can be found. 2 CONC Probably there never was anything more than hand-scrawled writing on them 2 CONC if even that. Probably Jacob and his two wives are buried there and 2 CONC likely his daughter, Mary 2 CONT (nee Bluebaugh) Flanary, and perhaps some of his and Esther's children. 2 CONT 2 CONT One can conclude from the existing records and the traditions and legends 2 CONC still told in Lee County that Jacob Bluebaugh was a most interesting and 2 CONC remarkable man even if he perhaps was domineered by "Old Granny Hettie." 2 CONC At least he knew how to keep secrets! 2 CONT 2 CONT NOTES: (1) Interview with Mrs. Charles Blair, 1961 (2) Interview in 1961 2 CONC by D. L. Osborn with Mrs. Clyde H. Bishop (See Sada Gilbert), Dryden, 2 CONC Virginia (3) Interview June 3, 1961 by D. L. Osborn with Ballard Parsons 2 CONC (born 1880, son of John Morgan Parsons), Dryden, Virginia (4) Interview 2 CONC with Ballard Parsons, June 3, 1961 (5) Interview with Mrs. Charles Blair, 2 CONC 1961 (6) Interview with Ballard Parsons, June 3, 1961 (7) Interview with 2 CONC Mrs. Charles Blair, 1961. 2 CONT 2 CONT Additional Bluebaugh Information: 2 CONT It is possible that the Jacob Bluebaugh having a land survey (150 acres 2 CONC on both sides of North Fork of Holston River) in Washington County, 2 CONC Virginia in February, 1786 (1) was the Jacob we know of later in Lee 2 CONC County. However, unless the Lee County Jacob was born several years 2 CONC before 1776 (and we know his second wife was born circa 1786), he likely 2 CONC wasn't the Washington County Jacob who 2 CONT likely would have been at least 20 years old when he was having land 2 CONC surveyed in 1786. But they may have been one and the same person. 2 CONT 2 CONT There is a possibility that Jacob Bluebaugh of Washington County in 1786 2 CONC was the father or an uncle of Jacob of Lee County. One might further 2 CONC speculate that some earlier records in Frederick County, Maryland, 2 CONC pertain to this Jacob of Washington County, Virginia, but of course it 2 CONC would be pure speculation. 2 CONT 2 CONT Frederick County, Maryland deed records show that on October 23, 1753, 2 CONC Conrad Hagmire conveyed some land by deed to Jacob Bromback (Deed book E, 2 CONC page 293). We might supposed this Jacob was aged 20 years or more when he 2 CONC obtained this land which would place his birth before 1734. On March 22, 2 CONC 1773, Jacob Blueback or Bluebaugh was petitioning for title to some land 2 CONC in 2 CONT Frederick County called "Weedings Choice" which he was "seized in fee of" 2 CONC (Deed Book P, page 680). Was this the same Jacob who was in Washington 2 CONC County, Virginia in 1786? Two deed records in Frederick County, Maryland 2 CONC are for a Rudey, Rudy, or Rudolph Bruback (possibly a corrupted spelling 2 CONC of Bluebaugh). On October 5, 1759, Edward Diggs and Ralph Taney conveyed 2 CONC land to Rudey and on March 20, 1765, Rudy or Rudolph conveyed land to 2 CONC Andrew Hull (Deed Book 5, page 836 and Deed Book J, page 1076, 2 CONC respectively). The 1790 Maryland census shows some of the family still 2 CONC there. Benjamin Blueback was a family head in Frederick County with 2 CONC himself aged 16 years and up (born prior to 1775), a free white male 2 CONC under 16 (born 1775- 1790), 2 free white females, and 1 slave. 2 CONT 2 CONT Now let's look at some of the relatively few existing records concerning 2 CONC Jacob Bluebaugh and his family. Spellings of the family name varied 2 CONC somewhat but were usually recognizable. He was Jacob Blewbough, white and 2 CONC above 16 years of age and owner of 9 horses, in the 1795 Lee County 2 CONC Personal Property and Land book now in the Virginia State Library in 2 CONC Richmond. A similar book for 2 CONT 1796 showed him as Jacob Blewbaugh. Other spellings in these tax books 2 CONC through 1829 include, Blubaugh, Blubock, Bluebeaugh, Bluebough, 2 CONC Bleubough, and Blubauh. These books show Jacob owned 100 acres during the 2 CONC years 1802 through 1805; 385 acres and 100 acres (total of 485) from 1806 2 CONC through 1823; 385, 100 and 75 acres in 1824; 385, 100, and 35 acres from 2 CONC 1825 through 2 CONT 1827; and 222 acres in 1828 and 1829. His 385 and 100 acres are described 2 CONC as being on the south side of Poor Valley Ridge and the 222 acres were on 2 CONC the waters of Powell River. A tract of 120 acres owned by James Benham 2 CONC and Peter Little in 1814 is described as on the "Waters blueboughs 2 CONC spring." 2 CONT 2 CONT The 100 acres mentioned above is apparently the same as that found in the 2 CONC "Surveyors Records, Lee County, 1794-1814", at the Lee County Courthouse. 2 CONC On page 301 we find a sketch drawn of a 100-acre irregularly- shaped 2 CONC piece of land and the following words: 2 CONT 2 CONT Surveyed October 25th, 1798 for Jacob Bluebough one Hundred acres of land 2 CONC by Virtue of an Entry made November 20th 1783, by Thomas Campbell by him 2 CONC Transferred to James Fugate and by him to sd. C. 2 CONT 2 CONT Several other deeds in the Lee County records at Jonesville show Jacob 2 CONC conveying and receiving land. These records along with tax records 2 CONC indicate a slight possibility he may have owned at least 782 acres before 2 CONC he conveyed 297 acres to John Zion in 1812. This agrees with the 2 CONC statement of Mrs. Charles Blair of Lee County in 1961 that the Bluebough 2 CONC farm probably originally contained as 2 CONT much as 700 or 800 acres. She said it covered an area from the Powell 2 CONC River including what is presently known as the Jack Flanary (Silas 2 CONC Jackson Flanary, son of David Crockett Flanary) farm (same as where Silas 2 CONC Flanary - born 1812, died 1898 - lived), the Crit and Elbert Flanary farm 2 CONC (previously known as the Trav Flanary farm), the Hobbs farm, the Johnson 2 CONC (formerly Bailey) farm, the Gilbert farm, and the Parsons (John Morgan 2 CONC Parsons, father of Paris Ballard Parsons) farm. 2 CONT 2 CONT The land holdings of Jacob Bluebaugh can be at least partially 2 CONC reconstructed from these deed records: 2 CONT (1) Possible acres owned before 1812 deed (however, 1806 through 1823 tax 2 CONC lists show 485 acres). Total known holdings: 782 acres. (2) September 22, 2 CONC 1812 - Jacob Blubaugh of Lee County to John Zion - 297 acres on S. side 2 CONC of the poor Valley Ridge on the waters of Coxes Spring; after that he 2 CONC owned 485 acres. (3) Holdings according to 1814 tax record - 485 acres. 2 CONC (4) July 28, 1823 - Robert Craig of Washington County, Virginia to Jacob 2 CONC Blubough of Lee County, Virginia - 75 acres, part of a survey made on a 2 CONC treasury warrant No. 9068 for 222 acres - Total known holdings 560 acres. 2 CONC (5) October 4, 1823 - Jacob Blubough to John T. Flint - 40 acres lying 2 CONC northwardly to the place where the said Jacob now lives 520 acres. (6) 2 CONC October 4, 1823 - Jacob Blubough gave a Deed of Trust for 223 acres to 2 CONC Daniel Razor and John Olinger. Jacob apparently retrained possession but 2 CONC if we deduct these 223 acres, there are left unaccounted for 297 acres. 2 CONT 2 CONT In this the remaining 297 acre piece of land conveyed to John Zion in 2 CONC 1812? If so, the tax records of 1814 still showed Jacob owning a total 2 CONC acreage which would have included the 297 acres disposed of in 1812. 2 CONC Perhaps this is a clue that John Zion was of some relation to Jacob and 2 CONC it really didn't matter who paid the taxes. Perhaps John was Jacob's 2 CONC first wife's brother or father which would make 2 CONT Mary (nee Bluebaugh) Flanary's mother a Zion which could account for 2 CONC Mary's naming her youngest son Zion, usually not a given name. 2 CONT 2 CONT Let us look further at the 1823 Deed of Trust from Jacob Bluebaugh to 2 CONC Daniel Razor and John Olinger. The record states this 223 acres cornered 2 CONC on John Zion's land. Listed are the names of Jacob's wife, Esther M. 2 CONC Blubaugh, and Jacob and Esther's three under-age daughters: Esther Ann, 2 CONC Catharine, and Margaret. This instrument made Razor and Olinger trustees 2 CONC of the land - letting 2 CONT Jacob's wife have the use of the land and personal property until her 2 CONC death or remarriage (should she survive Jacob). At such time, the land 2 CONC was to be divided among the three daughters or the survivors if one or 2 CONC more should die before reaching the age of 18 or marriage. 2 CONT 2 CONT Perhaps one who is adept at studying deed records would interpret these 2 CONC instruments differently, but it appears that, for some reason, Jacob 2 CONC asked Daniel Razor and John Olinger to convey the 223 acres back to him 2 CONC for that was done on February 15, 1830. Perhaps Jacob was ill and decided 2 CONC to make arrangements for the disposition of his estate. One might wonder 2 CONC if his wife Esther influenced 2 CONT him - either directly to make things more favorable to her or indirectly 2 CONC with her dominant personality to the extent he decided to make them less 2 CONC favourable to her. Census records infer another daughter was born between 2 CONC 1820 and 1825 - perhaps after the 1823 Deed of Trust. 2 CONT 2 CONT One can reasonably assume that Jacob lived only a short time - not more 2 CONC than a few months - after the 1823 Deed of Trust was revoked by the 2 CONC February 15, 1830 document for we find not Jacob, but Esther Blubaugh as 2 CONC early as November 19, 1832 for land "adjoining land of the heirs or 2 CONC devisees of Jacob Blubough." 2 CONT 2 CONT What more do the Lee County census records reveal about the Bluebaugh 2 CONC family? In 1820, Jacob Bluebaugh was head of the family and aged 45 up 2 CONC (born before 1776) and his wife was aged 26 and under 45 (born 2 CONC 1775-1794). The 3 children were 1 male 10 and under 16 (born 1804-1810) 2 CONC and 2 females under 10 (born 1810- 1820). Where was the third daughter? 2 CONC Apparently she was 2 CONT overlooked or was living with someone else at census time for she does 2 CONC appear in the 1830 census. The 1830 census with Esther Bluebaugh as the 2 CONC family head shows her aged 40 and under 50 (born 1780-1790) and 5 2 CONC children living in the household. These 5 were 1 male 20 and under 30 2 CONC (born 1800-1810), 1 female 15 and under 20 (born 1810-1815), 2 females 10 2 CONC and under 15 (born 1815-1820), and 1 female 5 and under 10 (born 2 CONC 1820-1825). Incidentally, what happened to the 2 CONT male born between 1800 and 1810, who apparently was Jacob's son? Probably 2 CONC he died as a young man or he emigrated to another part of the country as 2 CONC no later records of Bluebaugh men have been located in Lee County, 2 CONC Virginia records. 2 CONT 2 CONT To stay in somewhat chronological order, let us look at the Lee County 2 CONC marriage records for 3 daughters of Jacob and Esther: 2 CONT Hester Ann Bloubaugh and Thomas Collingsworth on July 17, 1832. 2 CONT Catharine Bloubough and Washington Hobbs on October 3, 1833. 2 CONT Margaret Blubaugh and Shelby Hobbs on October 21, 1835 2 CONT 2 CONT Little research on the husbands of these 3 Bluebaugh girls has been done 2 CONC for this writing. However, Thomas and Esther A. Collinsworth were living 2 CONC 2 houses from Esther M. Blabough according to the 1860 census. Also, 2 CONC Shelby Hobbs was living only 1 house from Esther M. Blabough, but with a 2 CONC wife Lucinda (2). It would seem that this Shelby Hobbs was the one who 2 CONC married Margaret Bluebaugh 2 CONT and that Margaret had died and Shelby had remarried. This probability is 2 CONC strengthened by the recollections (3) in 1967 of Ballard Parsons (born 2 CONC 1880) of family traditions (he is not certain of their authenticity) that 2 CONC Shelby Hobbs' first wife got drowned in the river and that he married, 2 CONC secondly, Lucinda whose maiden name was probably France or Zion. Shelby 2 CONC and Lucinda had several 2 CONT children. Shelby had a third wife, Sue Rivers. 2 CONT 2 CONT According to the census taken on August 22, 1860, Esther M. Blabough was 2 CONC 74 years old (born circa 1786) with the occupation of "House Keeper" and 2 CONC birthplace of Augusta County, Virginia. Her assets shown are $50 personal 2 CONC estate and no real estate. Her neighbor Shelby Hobbs had $10,000 real 2 CONC estate and $1,500 personal estate. These figures would indicate that all 2 CONC of Jacob Bluebaugh's 2 CONT land had been disposed of and that his widow still had only the personal 2 CONC property. 2 CONT 2 CONT The only other person in the Blabough household in 1860 was John Colton, 2 CONC age 24, a "Farm Laborer" born in Lee County, Virginia. Probably Esther, 2 CONC Jacob's second wife, died prior to 1870 as she was not noticed in the Lee 2 CONC County, Virginia census for that year. 2 CONT 2 CONT NOTES: (1) "Annals of Southwest Virginia, 1769-1800), by Lewis Preston 2 CONC Summers, Abingdon, VA, 1929, page 1786. (2) Federal Census 1860 for Lee 2 CONC County, Virginia shows the Collinsworths on pages 243 and 244 (House No. 2 CONC 1569, Family No. 1608) and the Blabough and Hobbs households on page 244 2 CONC (House No. 1571, Family No. 1610 and House No. 1572, Family No. 2 CONT 1611, respectively). Land to a corner of said Blubaugh's land. 2 CONT ---- 2 CONT Jacob Blubaugh was of German origin, and evidence indicates that he came 2 CONC to America and landed at Philadelphia. Considerable research has been 2 CONC done to find authentic records on Jacob but the proof is still lacking. 2 CONC However, the best information is found in Strassburger's Pennsylvania 2 CONC German Pioneers. Strassburger reports that a certain "Jacob Flubaugh" 2 CONC landed in Philadelphia on the brig Betsy on December, 4, 1771. After the 2 CONC Revolution, Jacob Blubaugh appears in Washington County, Virginia, as a 2 CONC land owner, both by grant and purchase. Later he removed to Lee County, 2 CONC Virginia, where he acquired land and established a home and where he 2 CONC remained until his death in 1831. Jacob was married twice but the name 2 CONC of his first wife is not definitely known. However, there is strong 2 CONC evidence that her surname was Zion. Jacob was closely associated with 2 CONC the Zion family of Washington and Lee Counties, so presumably he was 2 CONC related to this family in some way. The name "Jacob Blubaugh" is carried 2 CONC in the Olinger family and this also indicates a family relationship or 2 CONC strong tie of friendship. The Blubaughs, Olingers and Zions settled in 2 CONC the Yokum Station District of Lee County and were neighbors. 2 CONT Source: Jack Brummett 2 CONT ---- 1 CHAN 2 DATE 21 SEP 2002 3 TIME 23:24:05 0 @I199@ INDI 1 NAME William /Wynne/ 2 NSFX Sr. 1 TITL Sr. 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE 10 AUG 1729 2 PLAC Brunswick county,Virginia 1 DEAT 2 DATE 8 JUL 1808 2 PLAC Tazewell county,Virginia 1 BURI 2 DATE JUL 1808 2 PLAC Tazewell county,Virginia 1 FAMS @F124@ 1 NOTE Name Suffix: Sr. 2 CONT Ancestral File Number: 95JN-D4 2 CONT 2 CONT Name Suffix: Sr. 2 CONT Ancestral File Number: 95JN-D4 1 CHAN 2 DATE 21 SEP 2002 3 TIME 23:06:09 0 @I200@ INDI 1 NAME UNKNOWN // 1 SEX F 1 DEAT 2 DATE Dead 1 FAMS @F96@ 1 FAMS @F93@ 1 CHAN 2 DATE 21 SEP 2002 3 TIME 23:19:58 0 @I201@ INDI 1 NAME Henry /Cox/ 1 SEX M 1 FAMS @F140@ 1 CHAN 2 DATE 21 SEP 2002 3 TIME 23:30:10 0 @I204@ INDI 1 NAME Fillis /Marrs/ 1 SEX F 1 BIRT 2 DATE 20 SEP 1763 2 PLAC Virginia 1 DEAT 2 DATE 12 JAN 1855 2 PLAC Chillicothe,Livingston,Missouri 1 BURI 2 DATE JAN 1855 1 FAMS @F124@ 1 FAMC @F88@ 1 NOTE Ancestral File Number: 95JN-F9 2 CONT 2 CONT Ancestral File Number: 95JN-F9 1 CHAN 2 DATE 21 SEP 2002 3 TIME 23:11:36 0 @I206@ INDI 1 NAME John /Flanary/ 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE 1756 2 PLAC Ireland 2 SOUR @S7@ 3 PAGE Tree #3566 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Mar 24, 1998 1 DEAT 2 DATE WFT Est. 1782-1842 2 SOUR @S7@ 3 PAGE Tree #3566 3 DATA 4 TEXT Date of Import: Mar 24, 1998 1 FAMS @F121@ 1 SOUR @S7@ 2 PAGE Tree #3566 2 DATA 3 TEXT Date of Import: Mar 24, 1998 1 CHAN 2 DATE 21 SEP 2002 3 TIME 23:24:05 0 @I207@ INDI 1 NAME Margaret /Beynon/ 1 SEX F 1 BIRT 2 DATE 20 DEC 1827 2 PLAC Preed,Batha Pinbia,Wales 1 DEAT 2 DATE 6 NOV 1872 2 PLAC Goshen,Utah,UT 1 BURI 2 DATE 10 JUN 1880 2 PLAC Goshen,Utah,UT 1 AFN 1FLG-ST 1 FAMS @F15@ 1 FAMC @F61@ 1 NOTE From Ancestral File (TM), data as of 2 January 1996. 1 CHAN 2 DATE 23 SEP 2002 3 TIME 21:15:03 0 @I210@ INDI 1 NAME William Erskine Marr /Marrs/ 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE 1710 2 PLAC Royal Castle,Balmoral,Mar,Scotland 1 DEAT 2 DATE Dead 2 PLAC Little York,York,Pennsylvania 1 FAMS @F93@ 1 NOTE Ancestral File Number: GTWW-DR 2 CONT 2 CONT Ancestral File Number: GTWW-DR 1 CHAN 2 DATE 21 SEP 2002 3 TIME 23:25:22 0 @I213@ INDI 1 NAME /Bradshaw/ 1 SEX M 1 DEAT 2 DATE Dead 1 FAMS @F96@ 1 NOTE Ancestral File Number: 1WRZ-0G5 2 CONT 2 CONT Ancestral File Number: 1WRZ-0G5 1 CHAN 2 DATE 21 SEP 2002 3 TIME 23:20:21 0 @I224@ INDI 1 NAME Dixon Sharp /Litton/ 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE 4 DEC 1818 2 PLAC Lee county,Virginia 1 DEAT 2 DATE 10 DEC 1906 2 PLAC Lee county,Virginia 1 BURI 2 DATE DEC 1906 2 PLAC Lee county,Virginia 1 FAMS @F134@ 1 NOTE Ancestral File Number: ZJD2-FT 2 CONT 2 CONT Ancestral File Number: ZJD2-FT 2 CONT 2 CONT Ancestral File Number: ZJD2-FT 1 CHAN 2 DATE 21 SEP 2002 3 TIME 23:10:46 0 @I227@ INDI 1 NAME Unknown /Zion/ 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE Abt 1749 2 PLAC Washington County,Virginia 1 DEAT 2 DATE UNKNOWN 1 FAMS @F142@ 1 NOTE 1810 Washington County, Virginia census (not sure if this is "unknown" or 2 CONC his son): 2 CONT John Zion - head of household male 45 & up 6 foreigners not 2 CONC naturalized 2 CONT female 45 & up 2 CONT male 26-45 2 CONT female 16-26 2 CONT female 16-26 2 CONT female 16-26 2 CONT female to 10 (born in the United States) 1 CHAN 2 DATE 21 SEP 2002 3 TIME 23:24:05 0 @I230@ INDI 1 NAME Rebecca /Flanary/ 1 SEX F 1 DEAT 2 DATE UNKNOWN 1 FAMS @F140@ 1 FAMC @F121@ 1 CHAN 2 DATE 21 SEP 2002 3 TIME 23:24:05 0 @I231@ INDI 1 NAME Samuel /Wynne/ 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE 31 JUL 1789 2 PLAC Tazewell county,Virginia 1 DEAT 2 DATE 18 SEP 1817 2 PLAC Lee county,Virginia 1 BURI 2 DATE SEP 1817 1 FAMS @F89@ 1 FAMC @F124@ 1 NOTE Ancestral File Number: 95JN-MB 2 CONT 2 CONT Ancestral File Number: 95JN-MB 1 CHAN 2 DATE 21 SEP 2002 3 TIME 23:13:36 0 @I232@ INDI 1 NAME Richard /Lund/ 2 NSFX Sr. 1 TITL Sr. 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE Abt 1650 2 PLAC England 1 DEAT 2 DATE 5 NOV 1724 2 PLAC Lancashire,England 1 FAMS @F50@ 1 CHAN 2 DATE 23 SEP 2002 3 TIME 21:46:06 0 @I233@ INDI 1 NAME /Unknown/ 1 SEX F 1 FAMS @F50@ 1 CHAN 2 DATE 23 SEP 2002 3 TIME 21:46:33 0 @I235@ INDI 1 NAME Mary Rebecca /Blubaugh/ 1 SEX F 1 BIRT 2 DATE 1782 2 PLAC Lee County,Virginia 1 DEAT 2 DATE Abt 1814 2 PLAC Lee County,Virginia 1 FAMS @F127@ 1 FAMC @F114@ 1 CHAN 2 DATE 21 SEP 2002 3 TIME 23:24:05 0 @I238@ INDI 1 NAME Dorothy // 1 SEX F 1 BIRT 2 DATE Abt 1691 2 PLAC England 1 FAMS @F66@ 1 CHAN 2 DATE 23 SEP 2002 3 TIME 21:43:20 0 @I241@ INDI 1 NAME Rebecca /Zion/ 1 SEX F 1 BIRT 2 DATE Abt 1756 1 DEAT 2 DATE UNKNOWN 1 FAMS @F114@ 1 FAMC @F142@ 1 CHAN 2 DATE 21 SEP 2002 3 TIME 23:24:05 0 @I244@ INDI 1 NAME West /Edwards/ 1 SEX M 1 BIRT 2 DATE between 1760 & 1765 2 PLAC So.
