I regret to announce that I missed
John's (my dad's cus) wedding reception the other week. I did, however, view

Today cover story blames California State government for it's busted state
budget
USA Today did an analysis of how the 50 states send, tax and
balance their budgets, or don't. The found that California was "the
worst-performing state in the analysis".

New Site
You may notice that I just changed
this web-site. Well, I've been working on this new version off and on for around
6 months now. I think it's nice. It doesn't have the same artsy/indie feel to it
as my old one, but I like that. It is now a place where the focus is on my
writing, and that's what I mostly do.

Issues : Child Labor / Sweat Shops
"...Boycott
the companies that use child labor? No! Boycotting creates results, but not
results that benefit children. Putting them out of work and onto the streets
only worsens their situation. Attacking the economies they live in is not the
solution!..."

Days Later
Boyle used actor Ewan McGregor in
his first three films and they rose to fame together. Then he came out
with the big budget film "The Beach" with Leonardo DiCaprio
which essentially flopped (although I enjoyed it myself). Now he's back to
a low budget film with a bunch of nobodies filmed with a digital
camera.
