milk, but they didn't have enough money. At last they collected their money together and buy a glass of milk
while promised to share the milk.
" You drink first, Nashruddin, " said his friend.
"Why ?" asked Nashruddinn
"I bring a little sugar and this is just enough half a glass of milk only. I'll put the sugar into my share only, "
said his friend.
"Put it into the glass now, I'll drink just a half and then you will too," said Nashruddin.
"No, this sugar is enough for half a glass only,"
Nashruddin open his bag and take his salt out while said, "Ok, but I will put my pack of salt into my share
first, and I'll drink first then you can put your sugar after I drink."
NASHRUDDIN AND HERITAGE
A very rich man died and has three children inerited his wealth. The father had a message for his children. In
the message it was stated out that the first son would get a half, the second would get one third, and the last
would get one ninth of the wealth.
All the wealth was divided for three children easily. The problem arising was about the 17 camels. The
children were confused about how to divide the camels into a half, one third, and one ninth. Then they came
to Nashruddin.
"That's easy,"
The beneficiaries looked at his face as if they did not believe his answer.
"Take it easy, I'll lend you one camel. Now there are 18 camels. The first son gets 9 camels or a half of
camels. The second gets 6 camels, that's one third. And you the youngest child, get 2 camels that is one
ninth . So if we sum up of all your camels, we get 17 camels. There is 1 camel left, and it's mine. Well, now
are you satisfied ? Then , give my camel back to me," said Nashruddin.
They were very glad because the probem had been solved well and thanked to Nashruddin.

"Go ahead," answered the man.
"We have to make a deal first, if you can;t answer my question, you have to pay me 10 dirham. Then you
can ask me a question. If I can't answer your question, I will pay you 1 dirham," explained Nashruddin.
The man said quickly, "It is not fair!"
"Yes, it's fair because you are highly educated, know much everything while I am not," said Nashruddin.
The man thought for the moment and finally he agreed.
Nashruddin smiled and said, "What do you call an animal that has three legs?"
The man thought for long long time while his right hand was rubbing his head. At last he quitted , "I don't
know, I give up, Nashruddin".
