Jimmy Lynn Stokes, 51, of San Angelo died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, in Lamesa from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at the First Baptist Church in San Angelo. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Stokes was born March 26, 1949, in Lone Oak, Texas. He was owner and president of San Angelo Packing and San Angelo By-Products.

Survivors include his children, Jarrod Stokes and his wife, Margarite, and their sons, Mancil and Whittman, Bradley Stokes and his Wife, Calley, and their daughter, Morgann, Amy Stokes and Melissa Stokes; his parents, Mancil Reuben “M.R.” Stokes and his wife, Darlene, of San Angelo and Mary Frances Shelton Stokes of San Angelo; one brother; two sisters; and three stepbrothers.
