BARBARA NELL DONLEY DANIELS

Barbara Nell Donley Daniels, 49, of San Angelo died Tuesday, May 18, 1999, in a Shreveport, La., hospital after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at St. Paul Baptist Church with the Rev. Fredd Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Barbara, also known as ``Cheetah,'' was born Dec. 18, 1949, to Josephine Donley and the late Clyde Donley Sr. in San Angelo. She graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1968. She initially worked as a licensed vocational nurse for several years in Houston. In 1980, she returned to San Angelo and was employed by GTE Southwest for 19 years of dedicated service.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Josephine Donley of Emory; her loving daughter, Roishene Collette Johnson and son-in-law, Kevin Johnson, of Bossier City, La.; a loving and caring partner, Frank Hernandez of San Angelo; a sister, Shyrle Johnson of Houston; two brothers, Michael Donley of Jackson, Miss., and Russell Donley of Lubbock; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne Swindle, Corey Donley, Ed Randall, Jimmy Montez, Greg Jones and Dwayne Custer.

She was a wonderful, devoted and faithful mother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed by all those she touched.

The family of Barbara Donley Daniels acknowledges with grateful appreciation each act of kindness during her illness and at this period of transition for our beloved one.

The family will be receiving visitors from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 21, at Robert Massie Funeral Home.
