Hi! from the big city of Hondo Texas. If you can't find it on the map, look approx. 30 miles west of San Antonio. Well I just ran through the email on the site so far and was surprised to find so few class members writing in.

My wife and I have been living here for the past 19 years. Seems kind of odd considering I moved around the world so much growing up. I think that's one of the reasons I decided to give my children a more stable childhood.

Since graduating in 68 I went to San Angelo College which changed to Angelo State College. I then moved once again. Spent a year at UNC Wilmington. Learned to surf on the beach right across the street from our house on Kure Beach. Decided to return to San Angelo and now Angelo State University and join the brand new ROTC det. when My folks shipped over seas to Italy. Graduated in 73 with a degree in Government and supporting concentrations in Physics and Psychology, and a commission in the

Attended USAF flight school at Laughlin AFB in Del Rio. Just to back up a second, I was married in my junior year to Brenda Darby from Del Rio. Her dad was the base commander and she was attending ASU. We met at an Arnold Air Society function. We had our first child Athena Rhea (now 25 with two children of her own) while still at ASU. While in flight school we had our second child (Heather Malinda also married and just had her second child) . That marriage ended shortly after flight school as she became manic depressive schizophrenic after the birth of Heather.

Moved on to an assignment flying KC-135s at Fairchild AFB outside Spokane Washington. Met my second wife Diana Schoonover (just celebrated our 23rd year today) while in combat crew training at Merced California. Two pregnancies but no children due to her diabetic condition. Left the Air Force in 78 and moved back to San Angelo. Tried to go back to school but had to eat so I got my certified flight instructor rating and went to work at Southwest Aircraft Sales. Found out about the place I work now while on a cross country training flight with a student.

Went to work for Doss Aviation in the Air Force Flight Screening program in 79. Quickly moved up to a Flight Commander position and have been there ever since. Changed aircraft in 94 to a newer fully aerobatic aircraft. ( "The Deadly Trainer " for those that might have read the Time Magazine article last year). Hope to be able to attend this years reunion since I have missed the previous ones. Would like to find out if anyone knows were James Moore is?
