Vera Farmiga Alex Cross Most recently, Vera Farmiga co-starred opposite Robert De Niro and Edward Burns in the feature film “Fifteen Minutes” as a young Czech immigrant who witnesses a crime and becomes involved with the investigator (Burns) pursuing the case. Regarding her role as Alex Cross on “UC: Undercover,” Farmiga says, "It's my turn to play ‘Donnie Brasco’ instead of Donnie Brasco's wife. It's a chance for me as a woman to play the undercover agent. In that, there's the opportunity to become other people, so it's never the same character." Farmiga also finished several upcoming films and TV movies. In the romantic comedy “Dummy,” she co-stars with Adrien Brody, as the love interest of a painfully shy ventriloquist (Brody). She then co-stars in the television movie “Snow White,” a new interpretation of the classic tale of good-vs.-evil with Miranda Richardson and Tom Irwin, and in the independent drama “Nine Scenes About Love,” opposite Michael Imperioli for executive producer Robert Redford. Farmiga’s other film credits include the romantic drama “Autumn in New York” (with Richard Gere), “The Opportunists” (with Christopher Walken), and “Return to Paradise.” She is also an accomplished stage actress who has appeared in several productions as a member of the Barrow Group, a theater company in New York, where her credits include “The Tempest” and “The Seagull and Good.” A New Jersey native, Farmiga graduated from Syracuse University and currently lives in upstate New York when not filming “UC: Undercover” in Vancouver.
