Tributes to: Xena, Warrior Princess
»
From: Irma Nezirevic
Thank you Lucy and Renee. For me you were like sent from heaven. When I had it the hardest I decovered Xena and Gabrielle. I learned, thanks to Lucy and
Renee and their two characters, what it means to fight to live a good life. I learned that there is good in everyone, and that you never should hate, cause hate destroys you. I learned the true meaning of friendship and love. I saw what it was like to be strong women, fighting together to survive and save a lifesaving friendship. I wanna thank Lucy and Renee for the blessings they gave me. I will never forget you. You will always be in my heart and in my soul. Have a good, happy and VERY long lives together with your families. I LOVE YOU. Irma from Denmark

To lucy and renee, two wonderful people who Ive had the wonderfull inspiring enjoyment of for the last six years You are my inspiration. I do what i do because of you guys. You make me want to be a better person, to strive forward,to accept new chAllenges and face them headstrong. We all need someone ro look up to and believe in and I believe in what you stood for.You have helped the world face its grudges ,eyes wide open. I only hope that the love you two shared on the show has affected as many people as it did I. . the world is a harsh place, Xena and Gabrielle took me to a reality where love is what life is all about. Nothing else matters. I have always been different., a tomboy in my youth. Wwhat changed my life for me ,my turning point was when i was very young, I remember playing football, soccer to my comrades, and being spotted by a scout,, for middlesbrough football club. He said girls cant play league football.I said why, he said because youre a girl. My life changed forever after that. Since I have strived to make this world equal for all us women out there. I am now an advanced craft plumber, an up and coming athlete and a coach. Equally successfull in all those fields. I do what I do because of you guys Luce and Ren. If it hadnt been for Xena, I dont think I'd be here now. It has caused a lot of pain to get where I am in the world. I thought god, that womans so good.but your love, that unconditional love is what inspired me. You are heroes in every sense of the word. What you leave behind is a true legacy that all xena fans like myself hope to carry on. I used to be very aggressive, developing a slight chip on my shoulder. Then watching Xena I realised know matter what life throws at you, dont let it change the wonderful person you are. I try to find love in everything I do. Its a formula that works. Now I see things clearly. I have a destiny in this world, and I believe Im on that path, otherwise why do I do what I do every day of my life? The world is not an equal place, women are playing catchup, Lucy and Rren you give us the power, the strength, the courage to carry on and make a difference with our lives. I am now 28,going on 29 tomorrow. All my life i have spent empowering women, willing them, telling them, anything you want to do, go and take it. I am blessed. Through all this I have the wonderful love of my fiance Wayne. Wwithout whose strength and grace I could not stand up tall. You have changed my life forever Lucy and Ren. I thank you from the bottom of my soul. Tthere will never again be ANYTHING LIKE XENA WARRIOR PRINCESS,, and this tribute is to the two of you. thankyou.thankyou.thankyou. All my love, Verina.

My Tribute of Art/portrait of Xena WP,
as my Tribute to the Xena Spirit that is so Universal in appeal and created such Love in my or so many hearts that it can never be just forgotten...She truly became that Heroine in many lands of turmoil around our world today, just like the introduction in the opening of each program stated. A woman standing on her own with great sidekicks, to "Take Down" the Evil and bad guys, mostly even single handedly. A Warrior who faced them all and knew the fate of living by the sword means to die by it. There where heroes who fought and saved others too, back in those times, there even did exist in times past a Woman warrior like that. As did the Greek Gods once. Good historical play on the Gods of old.
I'm sending my pastel portrait in a jpg form as contributed as my Love offering for this great beautiful production and the enormous talents it
required to bring it to Life. Which it definitely did in grand scale. There's no way Xena could ever die once they gave her Life! Mark my words on this now. Just Great!

I just wanted to send a thanks to all of those out there who helped to create one of the best tv-shows the world has ever seen, at least what I think.
It's a wonderful mix between tragedy and laughter, sadness and joy. And not to forget, the picture of strong, beautiful women that the tv sends to all
the viewers. This show goes against the old code that a woman can be only one of the two above and shows that you can be both. Yes, Xena:Warrior Princess will always have a special place in my heart. Lost of loves.

Well, I guess all good things have to come to an end at some point. I really enjoyed the last couple of years watching Lucy and Renee whacking
the bad guys, dealing with Gods and other supernatural forces and off course having to deal with their own personal problems. I just want to express my
eternal grattitude towards Lucy, Renee, Hudson, Bruce, Ted and all the others. It's been fun!!

I'm a late Xenite, coming into the middle of season 4. Having previewed the series before, I always thought of it as this silly show. After channeling surfing one evening, I came across "Been There, Done That" on USA Network. Needless to say, I've been a fan ever since. I've made numerous friends over the last 2 years. And I hope to continue to do so.
Because the Xenaverses(despite our diffrences on the 'subtext') is one of the best fandoms out there. And there'll never be another show out there.
Xena will never die. She'll live on in fan fiction.

What can I say? This show changed my life. I started watching it during the third season, and was hooked instantly. I had been hooked on
other shows in the past, but nothing like I am with XWP.
I had been very depressed for a long time and because of this show, I was able to come out for the first time in my miserable life. I had been denying my feelings forever, and because of this show I became a new and better person. I met the "Love of my life", who is a HCNB too and made many new friends due to this show.
Thank you, Lucy, Renee, Rob, cast and crew for creating an "Outstanding" show, that changed my life and many others.

At first it was mere curiosity finding a unique T.V. show with interesting and colorful characters in an ancient setting. The creativity of the mythological coincidence amazed me and dazed me. Xena was one fantastick kick butt...ask questions later tone of a gal and I needed that strength in a woman.
It was in Dreamworker where I sensed a loyalty and caring between Xena and Gabrielle and felt a warm and wonderous friendship between these two women. By the time Ares appeared in the show, I knew I was attracted and hooked by something special. Something that offered dramatic messages of life really. The innocent young girl from Potaedia follows the strong warrior with a shaded past surrounded by turmoil to include amazing gods, fates and a destiny.
I was feeling unimportant already and having some health problems limit my mobility, I found strength like never before in this show. Basically, I found me again who I had put aside for years to attend the priority of family. Now this was MY SHOW and MY TIME and MY STRENGTH coming back to me. The bonus was the emotional connection as if each battle they won or overcame, I too could find a feeling of success and victory.
By the third season, I had no doubts they turned to the power of love and self. Gabrielle finding her way, Xena finding her way and me finding mine. Along the way it turned to a special love beyond need of title or definition. The creativity surrounding something more beautiful has never failed me on this show, has never ceased to involve me completely. When I have something I must deal with in my own mind, I need only think of this show, certain script and expressions by the greatest actors I've seen since T.V. was created and I know I loved it. Yes - Renaissance and all the cast and crew ~ THANK YOU !

What stands out about Xena? All I know is that there
was one hour out of a week in which the only thing
that mattered was "Xena Warrior Princess." For me, it
will live forever.
