Like many other CD's/TV's, I have been dressing since I was about 12 years old. I can remember how I loved trying on bras and underwear, stockings, girdles, and a few dresses that were accessible to me. I never understood why I did it (and still don't but I am ok with that)! And since this occurred before the internet was available, I had no idea how many others were doing the same thing and felt the same way I was feeling. During my childhood, I was stickly a CD and often times questioned my desires, but I knew for sure that 1) I adored the look and feel of women's clothes, 2) I was completed attracted to classy women, 3) I was not at all attracted to men, and 4) I never felt that I was a women trapped in a man's body. In addition, I really had no desire to wear a wig or makeup at this time of my life. Of course, no one knew of my desires and so I lived a very normal life as a male through high school.
While in college I actually suppressed my desires to crossdress instead of exploring them. If I could go back now though, I would definitely do things differently. I think the main reason was that the clothes were no longer available to me and I had no way of buying and storing my own clothes. At this time, however, I often fantasized about how much fun it would be to go out and pass as a female.
After college, I started wearing women's clothes again.
