Season One

Premiere

[x] Downtown Smallville 1989 was filmed in Merrit, BC. Situated 271 (168 miles) kilometers NE of Vancouver in the heart of the Nicola Valley. With a population of approximately 8,000, Merritt is located at the hub of the Coquihalla highway system. The Coquihalla provides Merritt with direct links to the Lower Mainland in under three hours, to Kamloops in 45 minutes, and to Kelowna and the Okanagan Valley in 75 minutes.


[x] The bridge which Lex hits Clark is Menzies Crossing, also known as the old Silver Bridge, on Harris Road in Pitt Meadows, BC.

[x] The Downtown Smallville - Main street is located on 57th and 176th Street in Cloverdale, BC. This is where you will find the 'Fordman's,' 'Nils flower shop' and the rest of the Smallville town. For more photos and information about Cloverdale, go to Cloverdalebia.com

[x] The track field of Vancouver Technical Secondary, was used in the scene where Chloe and Pete are seen walking toward Smallville High.

[x] Swangard Stadium is the site of Smallville High's football field. The stadium is located in Central Park at 3883 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC.

[x] The Cemetery, which Lana visits her parents grave is film at Fraser Cemetery. This cemetery was established in New Westminster, BC, around 1870.

Metamorphasis

[x] The Beanery is an actual coffee shop call 'The Whip.' This building is located on E. 6th & Main street in Vancouver, BC.

[x] Toward the end of the episode, where Clark and Greg were fighting, this scene was film at The British Columbia Museum of Mining in Britannia Beach at the Creekside Foundry. The BC Museum of Mining can be found on Highway 99 towards Whistler, 45 minutes from Vancouver, 52 km (32 miles).

Xray

[x] The Antique Shop used in this episode is located in Cloverdale, BC.

Cool

[x] The lake Sean falls into is Lake Sassamat and the beach is White Pine Beach, located on White Pine Beach Rd, BC, Canada

[x] The pool which Sean attacks Chloe was film at Richmond Minoru Aquatic Centre. The pool is located on 7560 Minoru Gate, Richmond, BC.

Hourglass

[x] Nitobe Memorial Garden at The University of British Columbia was the pond in the senior home (Kryptonite infused waters), which Harry fall into. The Nitobe garden is located within the UBC Botanical Garden, which is located at 6804 SW Marine Drive, Vancouver, BC.

[x] The rose garden of Fantasy Garden World located on 10800 No. 5 Road, Richmond, BC was used to film the scene where Cassandra told Lex his future.

Rogue

[x] The interior of Metropolis Museum was film in BC Place, located on 777 Pacific Blvd, Vancouver, BC. The exterior is the Vancouver Art Museum, which is located on 750 Hornby Street, Vancouver, BC.

[x] The apartment, which Phelan wants Clark to rob, was filmed at the Waterfall Building, located on 1540 W 2nd Avenue, Vancouver, BC. This is the same building used as Clark's Metropolis Apartment in season three.

Shimmer

[x] The front steps of the building used as Lex Luthor's Castle, which you are able to see it at the end of the episode was filmed at the Vancouver School of Theology, which is on the University of British Columbia campus. For more infomation about the building, go to Vst.edu.

Hug

[x] The scene, where Lex is answering a phone call from Clark at a supposed gas station, is actually The Yellow Barn Country Produce. The building is a produce store/barn located on 39809 No. 3 Road, Abbotsford, BC.

Leech

[X] The Bridge where Clark catches Eric is actually Cleveland Dam. This dam was build in 1954 spans the man-made Capilano Lake, which provides 1/3rd of Vancouver's water supply. The dam is located in North Vancouver about 5km north of the Capilano suspension bridge. For more information about the dam, go to Greatervancouverparks.com.

[x] The Pawn Shop is actually Napier's Antiques. The antique store is located at 6743 216th Street in Langley, BC.

The bowling alley was filmed at a bowling alley called Lois Lanes Bowling & Billiards in Richmond. The bowling alley is located on 23200 Gilley Road, Richmond, BC.

Reaper

[x] The basketball scene with Clark and Whitney was filmed at the basketball court in the back of Vancouver Technical Seconday School. This is the same location used in the pilot with Chloe and Pete.

Crush

[x] The cemetary which Lex visits his mother grave is actually Bob Prittie Public Library. This library is located on 6100 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby, BC.

[x] The cemetery used in Whitney's dad funeral is Mountain View Cemetery. This cemetary is located between 31st and 41st Avenues in Vancouver, BC.

Obscura

[x] When Lana gets kidnap by the police and is held at a building, this scene was film at Playland, which is an amusement park located on 2901 Hasting Street, Vancouver, BC.

[x] In the scene where, Whitney takes the ride out of Smallville on the Grey Hound Bus was filmed at a corner store called Glenwood store on 24th and 208th Street in Langley, BC.
