Question: Wow! "Justice" was, like, the best Smallville episode ever! Are there any plans for a spin-off?
Ausiello: "We've been talking about it," CW boss lady Dawn Ostroff told me. "I don't know if it's going to happen. It's hard; there are so many pieces to the puzzle, [including] rights issues. But it's something that we talked about. It's not going to happen immediately, but I wouldn't say never. Maybe somewhere down the road."

Smallville: Your Burning Questions Answered!
Al Gough answers fans questions at TVGuide.com.
First of all, I've been a fan since the pilot. Smallville is one of my favorite shows, and I'm constantly converting people into new fans. Next season, will you be signing on Erica Durance for all 22 episodes? Since it may be the last season, it seems that it'll be necessary to flesh out her journey toward becoming the iconic Lois Lane we know she's destined to become.
Gough: We love Erica, too; don't worry, we've got a big arc planned for her next season that even tops the Oliver Queen story!
What might you have in store for Chloe (Allison Mack)? Are we going to see any kind of change in her career? Upward mobility? Is she going to stick with journalism until the series' end?
Gough: Chloe has a lot of interesting challenges to face in the coming episodes. This is a watershed time for her, and she'll be faced with some life-changing decisions. Of course, all of Chloe's mobility will be upward; she's not one to move sideways. And how could you even think that Chloe would ever give up on journalism?
Will Jimmy ever return? He has potential outside of being an obstacle for Clark-Chloe. Plus, we know Jimmy has to be there when Clark and Chloe are working at the "Daily Planet" as reporters.
Gough: The addition of Aaron Ashmore to the cast has been one of our favorite parts of this season. He's been a terrific embodiment of the character, and we happen to agree with you about Jimmy's potential. Keep watching, and we have a feeling you may just see more of him in the future.

Kristin Kreuk Star in Partition
In a recent issue of Vancouver's Gegorgia Straight Kristin Kreuk's new movie, Partition was feature in an article. This movie is a tale of one couple battling against religious, political, and tribal odds in the context of Indias historic division of 1947.
"Vics passion for this film was really obvious. The whole process was very close to his heart, which is both a wonderful thing and sometimes a challenging thing. He put so much into this, and we all worked so hard to make it right. But when thats the case, if things start to go just a little bit wrong, well, that can be really hard for everybody. That said, hes such a fascinating guy just to spend time with. Hes travelled all over the world and tells all these crazy stories. And I like to listen."
A favourite of current lad mags and users of Neutrogena products (for whom she frequently models), Kreuk admits that sometimes shes a better listener than a speaker, at least when it comes to prep time. Here, there wasnt a lot of time to prepare for an emotionally demanding roleone that found her character beat up, held prisoner, threatened, and deeply in loveall with a lot of crying involved.
"I was kind of on my own in a lot of ways, which was actually a lot of fun for me. Smallville is a very structured environment, and there isnt much time to play with things. In a way, it was good that we didnt rehearse that much, because Im not that great with rehearsal; I tend to hold back and then the director doesnt know how much I can deliver when we actually shoot. In any case, this was a character that had a well-defined arc, and I sat with it, and the script, for two years before we actually shot. It was a part of my being the whole time."

Big future for Smallville star
The beautiful Ms. Kreuk, 24, is known far and wide in North America as Lana Lang on TV's Smallville. She will up the public profile ante this week with the lead role in Partition, a new drama set in the 1940s about the division of India and Pakistan. It opens in theaters Friday..."
