Notable:                                                      Threw for 2,688 yards, completing 176 of 308 with 18 touchdowns and 11 interceptions as a senior. Most Valuable Player in the Hula Bowl when he was 10 of 15 for 125 yards. First Stanford QB to make all Pac-10 first team since John Elway in ‘82. Threw for over 3,000 yards (3,092) as a junior. Member of the national honor society in high school.

Strengths: Has the size and frame to be a prototype NFL quarterback and played in a system where he threw into pro-style routes. Pretty accurate passer. Quick enough release. Can roll out effectively. Very smart quarterback with leadership qualities. Poised and mature player.

Weaknesses: Arm strength is average at best. Footwork needs work and is not naturally quick in the pocket. Mechanics are weak, throws with his arm too much.
