Todd
Husak became the third QB in Stanford history to throw for 3,000 yards in a
season as a junior in 1998, joining Elway and Steve Stenstrom. He finished his
career at Stanford as one of the school’s most prolific passers, ranking fifth
in passing yards (6,564), total offense (6,428), TD passes (41) and pass
attempts (872). Todd was named first team All-Pac-10 as a senior in 1999, the
first Stanford QB to earn that honor since John Elway.Threw
for 300 yards in a game on nine occasions, including two 400-yard games.Led
the Cardinals to their first Pac-10 championship and Rose Bowl appearance in
28 years as a senior.As a senior completed 176 of 308 passes for 2,688 yards
and 18 TDs as a senior in 1999.Completed
159 consecutive passes without an interception, breaking the Pac-10 record of
150 passes.
After a terrific
career at Stanford, Husak is trying to make it as an NFL quarterback. He does
everything pretty well, but not quite well enough to move up the depth charts.
