News of the National Tekken 4 Tournament was annouced earlier this month. Finally, the regionals have come and we are but three days away from the much anticipated Seattle Regionals. Two members of Tekken Vancouver are planning to attend this tournament, TC and ionic77. They will be leaving Friday the 18th of January. We wish them both the best of luck in representing both Vancouver and Canada.

SLA, hitching a ride along with Kain made his way up to Vancouver last weekend. The quarters poured into the T4 machine friday night at Odakyu. SLA, Falchion, and TC had met there in anticipation for the Jan.19th regionals in Seattle. Falchion's Law and TC 's Steve went on trial against the likes of SLA's Jin,Marduk,and Steve until late friday night. Four o'clock the next day newbieking and Moose sped down the freeway to Odakyu in Richmond. Moose phoned up Falchion's to tell the three who had taken leave at Falchion's the night before. Upon showing up at Odakyu newbieking and Moose were relieved to see all three were already there. Not only that Poochie had just gotten there as well. After that newbie noticed the camera set-up behind SLA which made newbie and moose very excited. After two hours or so of Tekken we headed to Wendy's cramed in newbie's Corolla. SLA quickly took the front. Falchion's order was to big to not take note of, a 3/4 pound burger meal with a side of chicken nuggets. After the camera had been setup again Tekken was on again till around one. King406 had also shown up on their arrival back from Wendy's. But he and Poochie ended up finishing their day playing Counterstrike and then more counterstrike and T3 back at King406's. All in all it was another great experience for everyone who attended this gathering.

The biggest news right now, at least for all tekken players, is the National Tekken 4 Tournament. Details are explained here. A local tournament was not held but regionals will be held in Seattle later this month. In preperation for this tournament players from Seattle have decided to come up for a hardcore weekend of Tekken 4. Time to pull out the cheese! More details of the visit will be added after..
