Review:
They've finally changed the stix on their cabinet to a proper T4 setup. I recently had the chance to try them out and the stix are pretty responsive. Sadly I can't say the same for the buttons. I was having quite a few problems with them. Attacks as simple as bryans 4,3 and 1,2 punches weren't coming out properly at times. This was also a japanese cabinet so I'm used to pressing the buttons lightly to get a response. In this case I had to press them quite hard to get an appropriate response, something that you don't want to be consciously doing in the middle of a match. Its set to best of 3 rounds against both the AI and VS. Cost is $1. Typical for a downtown arcade. If you can't make it to a better arcade I suppose this one will do. It is possible to get some good matches on this machine but if you get frustrated easily, I recommend another arcade. This arcade also has ttt though. Its $1 for best of 3 against AI and VS. American stix. I haven't tested them out thoroughly yet but they appeared to be in decent shape.
